Job Title: Anchor/Reporter
Job Description/Requisition Details: Deliver reports for daily newscasts and on Social Media. Develop contacts, enterprise hard news stories, write and produce packages and respnd well to breaking news. Ensure balanced and ethical presentation of the news. Must possess strong writing, producing, and reporting skills and understand the WJZ brand. Must meet deadlines. Must have ability to work in a multi-platform content environment including reporting to Digital platforms. Must have excellent news judgment, good written, verbal and personal communication skills. Must be a strong team player.
Qualifications: Required:
Applicant should have significant experience in anchoring, reporting and live work. Must be able to enterprise, develop contacts and break stories on air and across digital platforms. Three to five years anchoring and reporting in a medium market is required.
Preferred: College Degree
