Implementing New Overtime Rules: Implications for Broadcast Stations Webinar

With the U.S. Department of Labor’s changes to the overtime rules scheduled to take effect on December 1, 2016, it is important for broadcasters to understand how these new regulations will affect station operations and budgets.

To help our members prepare for these changes, the Maryland/DC/Delaware, Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia Associations of Broadcasters are coordinating a webinar “Implementing New Overtime Rules: Implications for Broadcast Stations,” on Wednesday, August 10 at 10 a.m.

This one-hour session—conducted by Brooks Pierce attorneys Tricia Goodson and Jessi Thaller-Moran—will discuss the new overtime regulations and other wage and hour issues affecting broadcast stations, including minimum wage and the applicability of the “small market” overtime exemption for certain station positions.
