The anticipated starting salary range for Washtington, D.C. based individuals expressing interest in this position is $100,000.00/Yr. - $130,000.00/Yr.

Overview:
A Radio Engineer, designs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots radio transmission systems and equipment. They work with systems that utilize radio waves for communication, ensuring optimal signal strength and quality. Their responsibilities include designing and implementing radio transmission systems, monitoring and optimizing performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Experience:
What You'll Do:
- Designing, testing and implementing wireless communication systems
- Maintaining these systems to function efficiently
- Analyzing user requirements
- Conducting tests to ensure systems are functioning
- Troubleshooting and solving technical issues
- Working closely with our computer IT department
- Good understanding of communication protocols, signal processing techniques and network architectures
- Site visits and surveys, data collection and system troubleshooting
- Communicating with clients and vendors
- Collaborating with other engineers, technicians and managers
- Attend training sessions on new software, technology, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, information technology or related field
- Strong mathematics skills
