Job Title: Producer
Job Description/Requisition Details: Assists fellow producers and managers to lead a team of anchors, reporters, photographers, editors and writers. Helps with daily production, content and aggressive execution of news. Write scripts to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with a FCC requirements. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and be willing to work overnights, days and weekends when needed.
Qualifications: Required:
News producing experience required. Knowledge of news content. Must have ability to handle breaking news and use teasing skills. Must understand how to use social media as an effective editorial and promotional tool. must be able to assign crews, monitor police, fire and other agencies to pursue news stories.
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree and 2 to 3 plus years of experience
