WJZ-TV has an immediate opening for a News Technician/Editor.

Job Title: News Technician/Editor
Job Description/Requisition Details: Demonstrate expertise in non-linear editing. Must be fast, efficient, creative while working under tight deadlines. Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. In addition to the primary editing assignment, position may require working in studio positions as well.
Qualifications: Required:
High School diploma/GED/Some College.
2 + years of experience as an editor for television or Cable Network.
Preferred:
Must have strong interest in News and current events. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team to edit video and reporter packages in a style consistent with station product/brand objectives. Strong Communication skills and the ability to complete assignments under required deadlines. Must be able to work all shift- including Holidays as needed.
