WBTV needs an experienced Executive Producer to develop and execute a research-driven content strategy with a strong team of journalists. Our viewer-focused On Your Side and First Alert Weather brands must be at the center of content selection and showcasing decisions.
WBTV is a fast-paced news organization in a highly competitive market. We need an Executive Producer who knows the difference between a leader and a manager- someone who can motivate and support an extremely talented team of producers and help them build dynamic television broadcasts in a multiplatform environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent news judgement and work ethic, a minimum of 3-5 years of line producing experience, and 2 years in an Executive Producer or comparable leadership role.
