· Bachelor's degree in interactive or multimedia journalism, communicationor equivalent experience.
· At least two years professional experience using social media for sharing content, storytelling and/or brand awareness.
· Writing, copy editing and proofing experience in a digital publishing environment.
· Ability to write and edit quickly using company style rules and socially engaging language.
· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, breaking news situations.
· Loves digging in to metrics and uses data to guide decision making.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop.
· Proficient with WordPress.
· Proficient with social analytics tools and SEO techniques.
· Work in compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management and clients.
· Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
