Job Description/Requisition Details:

Entercom Baltimore is seeking a creative, organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to serve as our Events Coordinator. The Events Coordinator will work closely with our Director of Live Events & Experiences to create and organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinate details of event with Director of Live Events & Experiences.
Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints.
Visit venues and setup event layout.
Research vendors (catering, decorations, musicians, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.
Negotiate with vendors to achieve most favorable terms.
Work with Director of Live Events & Experiences to create and manage event P&L.
Basic understanding of event budget management
Assisting with creation of sales packages
Assist Director of Live Events & Experiences with managing event from start to finish including management of staff day of event.
Attend sales calls with reps to assist in closing deals and understanding client expectations.
Evaluate event’s success, create recap including financial reconciliation.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in organization of successful events
Ability to negotiate with and manage vendors
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Sales experience a plus.
Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance are Required.
