Job Description:
98 Rock (WIYY-FM) is a mainstream rock station (43 years in the format) and the flagship radio station of the Baltimore Ravens. We are consistently one of the top-rated stations in the market, and in the format nationally. We believe in personality-driven radio, and this is a rare opportunity to join the most talented on-air lineup in Baltimore!
Job Responsibilities:
• Host on-air show
• Show prep
• Commercial production
• Staff meetings and one-on-one air-check meetings
Experience Requirements:
• At least two years on-air experience is preferred.
Qualifications Requirements:
• The ideal candidate is plugged into rock music, pop culture, and sports (especially Ravens football!), is social media savvy, and can demonstrate the ability to communicate in a concise and entertaining delivery.
• Must be available to work on weekends and holidays. There may be occasional weekday fill-in opportunities as well.
• Applicants MUST include samples (links or attachments) of on-air work to be considered.
Education:
• High School or equivalent degree. |
