Job Description/Requisition Details:

Entercom Baltimore/105.7 The Fan is looking to fill the position of Producer-Engineer for Baltimore Orioles baseball play-by-play broadcasts. This is a full-time salaried position which requires travel and evening, weekend and holiday work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

• Setup broadcast equipment and produce Play-by-Play broadcast of pre, post and in-game shows.
• Must be willing to travel with team and perform duties at all away games.
• Setup and produce baseball broadcast at all home games at Camden Yards
• Must be available for all Spring training and post season games
• Produce / engineer all Orioles baseball related shows ie. Hot Stove, Fanfest, Coach's shows
• Record and edit game highlights. Upload highlights to ftp site
• Record interviews with players, coaches etc.
• Attend press conferences or media events
• Additional duties required during off-season.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience producing and engineering play-by-play broadcasts for professional sports teams.
• Successful track record working with sports announcer talent is required.
• Experience with remote broadcast operations including field equipment, ISDN and IP CODECS, and cellular delivery platforms.
• Must have results driven approach to organize, plan, manage and execute assignments with minimum supervision in demanding situations.
• Must be Customer service orientated with ability to effectively communicate..
• Must enjoy baseball and have a working knowledge of how a baseball radio broadcast is run.
• Valid state driver’s license for operation of company vehicles is required. Reliable personal vehicle is required.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to identify colors, use close and distant vision, visually focus, hear, balance, sit, walk, bend, touch/feel, carry up to 50 pounds, climb, squat, crawl, stand, lift, push/pull, reach, twist and turn.
